Interview to MOIS student

I interviewed four third grade MOIS students and ask questions about MOIS.

Q. What subject in MOIS do you like the most?

A. I like Design and music class. Last lesson, we played the game in design(technical art) lesson. It was very fun. Also, we’re doing a choral ensemble with own laptop individually. I think it’s effective to learn own part individually.

Q. What kind of class in MOIS do you enjoy?

A. I enjoy discussing with groupmates. In MOIS, we have a lot of discussion time, especially in japanese class. We can get different idea from different perspectives in discussion, so it’s very interesting.

Q. Do you have test week?

A. No. We don’t have a test week. Instead of it, we have many homework and small tests. In math classes, there are mainly tests for each unit. Though we can call it ‘small’ test, it usually take about an hour. It’s a long test…

Q. What do you like best about MOIS?

A. I like 3G, an original subject in MOIS. It’s based on school precepts (Grit, Growth, and Global). We can choose the theme of the project, so each student can research what he or she wants to learn. It’s important to think about contributing to solve the social issues too, so we can learn about the world and society through it. 3G makes me grow.
